Biking Holiday – Charming Biking Tour in 8 Days

The area surrounding the Limfjord is excellent for biking – and in this tour, you get 6 day-stages that cover just about everything! A calm fjord and a roaring sea combined with highly varied nature, high skies, fresh air, and hospitality as is characteristic for West Jutland. The Limfjord is the largest fjord area in Denmark and is unique with its many small islands, small ferries, and the many bridges that tie it all together.

The stages have been planned so that you bike on smaller roads and cycle routes along the coast, through farmland, plantations, green forests, along the West coast, and through some of Thy National Park.

You cross the Limfjord 3 times, before you finish your tour of approx. 250 km by returning to the area near the Sallingsund Bridge. Your overnight accommodations are in the larger towns along the route and you have the time to stop and visit some of the many local attractions along the way. Remember to pack your bathing suits – the route along the fjord invites you to take a dip in the blue waters of the Limfjord!
