Day 1
Begin your stay with freshly brewed coffee and cake at Hotel Thinggaard. Afterward, you can enjoy shopping in the charming market town of Hurup before ending the day with the hotel’s delicious Schnapps Menu. Day 2
After breakfast, continue along the Schnapps Route to the Næssund Ferry, which will take you to the scenic area of Southern Mors. Follow the route along winding country roads to Sallingsund, cross the Sallingsund Bridge, and then continue to Thise Dairy. Visit the shop, packed with an exciting selection of cheeses, dairy products, and plenty of samples—a paradise for cheese lovers. From Thise Dairy, it’s a short drive to your next stop at Brænderiet Limfjorden, located at Sundsøre Harbor. The shop offers a wide range of whisky, rum, local brandy, liqueurs, beer schnapps, flavored schnapps, and much more. From here, take the ferry from Sundsøre to Hvalpsund, where you’ll stay overnight at Hvalpsund Færgekro. A delightful dinner awaits at this charming inn, beautifully situated with stunning views of the Limfjord. Day 3
Before continuing your journey, we highly recommend taking a walk in the area. Next, visit Herregården Hessel, where the garden features an ever-growing schnapps herb garden. Many of the herbs are native to the region. After your visit, we bid you farewell and wish you a pleasant onward journey. Please note:
