On this biking route, you cross the Limfjord no less than 4 times, on your way around some of the most beautiful areas and landscapes of Jutland.
The biking route has its start and finish on the Limfjord’s island Mors. From here, you cross the fjord for the first time, as you continue your bike tour through Salling, where you can enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the smaller island Fur. Your second time crossing the Limfjord leads you to the peninsula Lovns, as you continue your bike route towards Aalborg via Aars and Nibe.
Aalborg is the “capital” of Northern Jutland and, here, you can experience the liveliness of the city both day and night. In the heart of Aalborg, lies the famous street Jomfru Ane Gade, which is the longest street in Denmark that only consists of bars. The harbor has undergone a beautiful renovation, so today it appears inviting and atmospheric.
Enjoy the landscapes of Jammerbugt and Thy, the land between the sea and fjord. Bulbjerg – the only bird cliff in Denmark – and the rich bird life in Vejlerne are some of the highlights on this stage. From here, the route takes you back to Mors and its distinctive and impressive landscape.
On this scenic bike tour, you ride along the fjord and beaches, and you go through dune plantations and open landscapes with meadow grass. Experience nature and culture, watch birds and seals, and listen to the sound of grasshoppers in the fields.
